GH Todos is a client application for GitHub Projects V2. It lets you:
- connect a GitHub Personal Access Token;
- list available GitHub Projects V2 workspaces;
- view issue feeds and issue details;
- create issues in linked repositories and add them to projects; and
- update issue state, comments, priority mappings, and due dates.
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
-
You must have any GitHub account rights and permissions required for the projects, repositories, and issues
you access through the app.
-
If you use the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that
organization to these terms.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using GH Todos, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy
Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must not misuse the service
- do not use the app to violate GitHub’s rules, another party’s rights, or applicable law;
-
do not attempt to interfere with the app, reverse engineer protected parts except where law cannot
restrict that right, or bypass security controls;
- do not use the app to transmit malicious code or automate abusive traffic; and
- do not use another person’s token or access credentials without authorization.
- You are responsible for creating, storing, revoking, and rotating your GitHub Personal Access Token.
- You should grant only the minimum scopes needed for your intended use.
-
You are responsible for all actions performed through your GitHub account and token when used with the app.
- If you suspect compromise, revoke the token immediately through GitHub.
GitHub terms still apply
Your use of GitHub through the app remains subject to GitHub’s own terms, policies, API rules, repository
permissions, and rate limits.
Service availability depends on GitHub
If GitHub is unavailable, changes its APIs, changes its permissions model, or blocks or limits your
token, parts of GH Todos may stop working.
You retain rights you hold in issue text, comments, project data, or other content you submit through the
app. You grant only the permissions technically necessary for the app and GitHub to process that content on
your behalf.
The app may store local cache copies of GitHub-derived data, project mappings, and session preferences on
your device to improve responsiveness and allow cached UI rendering when network access is unavailable. Those
local caches are part of the app’s normal operation and do not change ownership of the underlying GitHub
content.
Subject to these terms, the operator grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license
to use GH Todos for its intended purpose on devices and platforms you control.
Functional changes
The operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including to respond to GitHub API
changes, platform requirements, security issues, or product direction.
Terms changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update takes effect means
you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
-
The operator may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service,
or use the app unlawfully.
- You may stop using the app at any time.
- Termination does not erase content already stored on GitHub.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GH Todos is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The
operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with all future
GitHub changes, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Consumer-law carve-out
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable
consumer protection law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data arising out
of or relating to the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, subject to any
mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in the jurisdiction where you live.
The courts located in St. Gallen will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives a consumer the
right to bring a claim in another competent forum.
